Návštěva Ria by nebyla kompletní bez návštěvy Escadaria Selaron (Selaronovy schody)! Umělec jménem Jorge Selaron je začal tvořit v roce 1990. Je tam 215 schodů a každý schod je naprosto originální. najdete tam dlaždice s obrázky snad všech měst a zemí světa (ok, Prahu jsem tam nenašla, ale usilovně jsem nehledala :D). Dnes jsou velmi oblíbená turistická atrakce i přesto, že po schodech nahoru se dostane do takové té horší čtvrti no ..

Po historickém centru a parcích jsme zavítali do botanické zahrady. Botanická zahrada v Riu má plochu 50 hektarů, což je asi pro představu 50 fotbalových hřišt vedle sebe! Najdete tady přes 5000 druhů odlišných rostlin a také tu potkáte mnoho zvířat .. od ptáků až po opice. Můžete navštívit orchiadeárium, japonskou zahradu a další upravené plochy. Zbytek je přirozený tropický pás. Vstupné stojí 9 realu.

Nedaleko botanické zahrady je jezero Rodrigo de Freitas, které lze vidět z Corcovada (tam, kde je Kristus Vykupitel).

Poté jsme šli na druhou nejslavnější pláž v Riu - pláž Ipanema. Je vcelku podobná Copacabaně jen není tak frekventovaná, ale jsou tam tak 2x větší než na Copacabaně.
//Then we went to second famous beach - Ipanema. It's quite similar to Copacabana but the waves are much bigger!
Na západ Slunce jsme se šli podívat na Arpoador.

A to je všechno z našeho výletu. Vím, a věřím, že se jednou vrátím do tohohle města, protože jsem se absolutně zamilovala ..
